Full-Height Plantation Shutters
These beauties are our most popular style.
Made from single full-height panels that cover your whole window, this simple and elegant shutter design can fit any window.
They can also be constructed from various woods and stained or painted to your specification. Allowing you to choose one that perfectly reflects your personality and fits your room’s colour scheme.
From a practical point of view, they’re also fantastic for giving you shade, privacy and heat control without any loss of light.
Add in a louvre mechanism, and you can adjust the position of your shutter slats to give you complete control of your light and airflow – meaning you never have to sit in a draft or miss bits of your favourite show because the sunlight’s bouncing off your TV screen.
Tier on Tier Window Shutters
Tier-on-tier shutters are perfect for bedrooms or ground-floor rooms where you need a degree of privacy.
They consist of two sets of shutters, placed one on top of the other within one frame. Giving you a huge amount of flexibility as the two sets of shutters can be opened and closed independently of one another. You can even fold back the top half of your window shutter whilst keeping the bottom half closed to give your room a touch of French chic ‘café’ style.
And, as with our full-height shutters, you can choose the direction of both sets of independent slats to make the most of the sunshine without feeling a nippy breeze (we are in the UK, after all) or feel snug and cosy on darker days.
Our Tier-on-tier shutters are particularly well-suited for wooden sash windows, making them a popular choice with Victorian and Georgian homeowners.
Cafe Style Shutters
Café-style window shutters are a little different.
You can still open them wide to have a clear view through your window or adjust the shutter slats to control your privacy or light, but they only cover the lower half of your window.
Making them a great choice if you live alongside a busy road and want a little more privacy or want to be able to dance around your kitchen without giving a show to your neighbours.

Bay Window and Shaped Shutters
Bay windows are a fantastic architectural feature that add a real sense of style to your room. With a larger-than-average run of windowpanes and all those angles, however, they can prove challenging when finding the perfect window covering.
Windowsill-length curtains can look dated, incorrectly installed blinds will leave you with unattractive gaps, and, as many bay windows give you a natural recess, you lose that perfect spot for your sofa when you fit floor-length curtains.

Because our blackout shutters are made-to-measure, expertly fitted and have an additional integrated blind, they help to eliminate those annoying gaps of light that spill in around the sides of other window dressings to spoil your sleep.
The pocketed, honeycomb design of the blind also captures air to help insulate your chilly windows. While the foil lining seals away sunlight when the shutters are closed, no matter what time of day it is.
